A few practical questions
Remodeling with Acacia
Do you handle full remodels or only cabinetry?
Acacia handles complete kitchen and bathroom remodeling, construction and installation. Lark Cabinetry specializes in cabinetry manufacturing. For cabinetry on its own, start with Lark; for a coordinated renovation, talk with Acacia. Lark customers may choose their own installer.
Do you help with design decisions?
Yes. We work through layout, storage, cabinetry, materials and finish direction alongside the scope of construction. You can bring a clear vision or a few ideas. Our Approach explains how the design and proposal develop.
What affects the price of a kitchen or bathroom remodel?
The room, existing conditions, scope, materials and amount of construction all matter. A cabinet-and-countertop replacement and a renovation involving changes to walls or services are different projects. We prepare project-specific pricing rather than establish the cost from a photograph.
Can I keep my existing kitchen layout?
Yes, when it works for your needs. We still consider appliance specifications, cabinet openings, countertops, connections and installation. The kitchen remodeling guide explains the planning conversation.
Do you remodel bathrooms?
Yes. We coordinate bathroom layouts, vanities, shower preparation, surfaces and the construction included in your proposal. Kitchens remain the primary specialty. Read our bathroom overview for the whole-room approach.

Cabinetry & fitted spaces
What is the difference between stock, semi-custom and custom cabinetry?
Stock cabinetry generally uses standard sizes and selections. Semi-custom offers more options within a product range. Custom cabinetry is planned for the dimensions and details of a project. The appropriate cabinet path and specifications are confirmed for your scope with Lark and Acacia, rather than assumed from a label.
What makes the cabinetry appropriate for my project?
The layout, construction, materials, hardware, storage and finish all need to suit the room. We discuss the details and confirm what is included. Read the cabinetry overview for Acacia’s role and Lark’s manufacturing role.
Is frameless construction available?
Frameless cabinetry is part of the established cabinetry planning approach. Construction, hardware and interior organization are specified for each project; no feature is assumed to be included in every cabinet.
Can built-ins be part of the work?
Yes. Built-ins, home-office storage, laundry rooms, pantries and architectural woodwork are considered in relation to the room. Explore Beyond the Kitchen for examples of the spaces we discuss.
Is cabinet refacing available?
Cabinet refacing is available upon request. Whether it is suitable depends on the existing cabinetry, layout and the work you want to undertake. Mention it during your project conversation so the appropriate scope can be discussed.
A few practical questions
Planning & construction
What is the first step?
Start a conversation about the room, the property address and what you would like to change. Photographs and ideas help, but a finished design is not required. We discuss the appropriate next step and a meeting in your home.
Do you provide a written scope and proposal?
Yes. A preliminary design informs a project-specific proposal. We review revisions, pricing and scope together. The agreed proposal establishes the work included before construction begins.
How long will the project take?
Timing depends on scope, selections, material availability and production. Final field measurements, appliance information and cabinet details inform readiness. An approximate construction start is established as those decisions are resolved; there is no universal turnaround promised here.
Should I buy fixtures or appliances first?
Collect ideas and specifications, but discuss the plan before committing to purchases. Fit, connections, clearances and the installation sequence need to agree with the cabinetry and layout.

Working locally
What areas do you serve?
Acacia serves St. George and nearby Washington, Ivins and Santa Clara, as well as Hurricane, La Verkin and Toquerville. Projects outside the primary area may be considered depending on scope and location. Share your address rather than rely on a fixed travel radius.
Where can I find a guide for my kitchen project?
The kitchen remodeling overview connects to our local planning guides, including Hurricane and Santa Clara. Each considers practical decisions for an existing home.
How do I ask a question about my project?
Use the current contact page to send project details or find our telephone number. A household access need, a preferred time of year or a second room you are considering is useful to mention early.
