A brief conversation helps us understand what you're considering, whether it's a complete kitchen renovation or a refresh. From there, we schedule a meeting in your home to talk it through.
Bring the photographs, the Pinterest boards, the ideas you've been collecting. They help us understand what matters to you—and what isn't working in the kitchen you have.
We look at the space together and take preliminary measurements for layout and estimating. Before we recommend anything, we want to understand your priorities and the way you use the room.
The Design
A direction.
Then the revisions.
Acacia typically handles the kitchen design and material guidance. You might arrive with clear preferences, or you might need help finding a direction. We can work from either place.
Depending on the project, that may mean layouts, mood boards, design alternatives, cabinet samples and coordinated material selections. We can also guide you toward local suppliers for stone, tile and plumbing fixtures.
If we see a better way, we'll explain why. A different layout, a different material, or a detail you hadn't considered should come with an honest recommendation.
Once the preliminary design is developed, we prepare a proposal and meet with you to review it. We work through revisions and pricing adjustments until the design and scope are agreed upon.
The Details
Before construction,
there's consideration.
Selections, specifications and measurements are part of the work—not an afterthought.
Once the proposal is signed and the deposit is received, your project is added to the production schedule. Final selections are typically completed over the following two weeks: cabinetry details, wood species, paint and stain colors, countertops, and the other materials your project needs.
We'll also need appliance specifications. The appliances don't necessarily need to be purchased yet, but their dimensions and installation requirements need to be established.
With the necessary information in hand, we take final field measurements and make any required cabinet adjustments. Cabinetry is then scheduled for production, and an approximate renovation start date is established.

Acacia team members manage the project from construction through completion. We coordinate the appropriate trade partners for the demolition, cabinetry installation, countertops, tile, plumbing, electrical and other work included in your project.
Those are different disciplines, but they belong to the same renovation. Acacia remains responsible for coordination and communication, so you're not left to manage a collection of contractors yourself.
